The Civic Type R comes from a very stout clutch kit from the factory, but as the vehicles age and many are put through racing conditions the factory clutch will eventually wear out. Meant as an OEM Replacement Clutch, the ACT Street Kit comes witha Heavy Duty Pressure Plate, Streetlite Flywheel (15.2 lbs), an Organic Sprung Disc, Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing, and Alignment Tool.

The Heavy Duty Pressure Plate incorporates hardened diaphragm fingers for decreased wear, and provides a 33% increase in clamp force over the stock unit. The ACT Street Kit is rated for up to 412ft/lbs of torque-holding capacity.
