RV6 has officially released its first Tube and Fin Front-Mount Intercooler (FMIC) designed specifically for the 11th generation Honda FL5 Civic Type R and 5th generation Acura DE5 Integra Type S.

Developed over 18 months, this intercooler is engineered to provide significant cooling performance gains for vehicles equipped with OEM turbochargers, RV6 turbo upgrades, or other aftermarket options. The design features an extruded square internal tube and fin core, selected for its superior cooling efficiency, lightweight construction, and structural strengthoutperforming traditional tube-and-V-fin layouts.

Compared to conventional bar-and-plate intercoolers, this new RV6 unit offers reduced weight and improved long-term thermal performance, making it especially well-suited for demanding track use and high-performance applications.
